Avon Mega Effects Mascara Review

When i saw this little mascara packaged in pink and black,i knew that i MUST own it!

So i ordered it for R100 from an Avon representative and i tested it out.


                                         


The mascara looks cute and is very compact as well.The applicator itself is a wide brush with an adjustable handle made for an easier ,less messy, application.It resembles a paint brush and i have never seen a mascara like this before!

                                                


It really gives your lashes a pop of volume and some length.

BUT honestly,it did NOT do it for me.I tried it twice and it will be the last time i use this only because it is so MESSY! It was a bit clumpy on my lashes as well and i could not reach those lashes towards the inner corner of my eye.The paintbrush applicator was not helpful at all.

So,that was my honest opinion.Whats your thoughts on this mascara?

Nail Crazy-My Mini Essence Haul

I dont know why BUT i have been so into nails recently specifically Nailart and Nail Stamping! (im going through a nail stamping phase)

So i went to my nearest Dischem and got myself some pretty supplies :)I ADORE Essence packaging!!

I actually dont get tempted in the Essence section but their products are so reasonably priced and the quality is awesome! So, i headed straight to the Essence section to pick up some goodies and this is what i got.

Im not exactly sure how much each of these cost but all together it was around R150 which is so affordable!!!

The stampy set is R40 and includes a scraper,stampy and a plate with a few designs.

I cant wait to try on my glitter essence polish ,its so pretty! I love glitter everything!

I was experimenting the other day with my stampy set and i am hoping to get a little better at it,im still a beginner :) Look at the mess i made....

I will def be posting pics when i do get better at Nail Stamping,its such fun to do!

Mac Posey Review

This blush gives a dewy finish which is so nice!I think this shade will flatter any shade even though it looks bright pink in the pan,it depends how you apply it and how dramatic you want it to appear.

Hi Beauties :)

I thought i could review a creme blend blush today from Mac and it is called Posey.
It is my first creme blush and i am in love with it.
I always used powder blushes which is nice but its also nice to try something new and i am sure glad i did!

So i have read alot of blog reviews about this blush.Some say its a warm peach,a hot pink even a coral LOL.
It shows up as a warm pink on my skin depends on how dramatic i want it,if i use alot of product,it is a hot pink
Its a color that i thought i would never wear but is the most flattering in my makeup case so far :)
I love to wear this lightly to give me a natural flushed look.
I apply this with my fingers patting on my cheekbones and blending with my fingers as well-when i am in a rush :)

This blush gives me a fresh,dewy look that i am loving!
The staying and blending power is amazing.

I just want to share 1 of my favourite recent buys.

My MAC Candy Yum Yum lipstick :)

Its a gorgeous pretty bright matte pink with blue undertones
Super pigmented
Lasts a long time
Eye catching
Great when doing an ombre lip

It can be a bit drying but thats not enough to put me off! Lol

Just make sure that your lips are soft, moisturized and exfoliated and you ready to apply! It lasts a very long time on your lip and I love that.

Its a lovely statement color!
I am NC45 and it still compliments my skintone even though this lippie has blue undertones.
You can wear Candy Yum Yum in so many ways! I love using red lipliner with it.What a stunning combination.

When I have this on my lip I prefer to have simple eye makeup with a small kitten flick as this lipstick is bold as it is.

A perfect summer must have!

What a breath of fresh air.
Essie products are so gorgeous!The one i am going review today is called "French Affair"

‘French Affair’ is an pale girly pink with cool undertones and a cream finish.This is a stunning nail polish.To be honest ,in the bottle ,the color did not excite me.After i saw my mums nails,i decided to give it a try because it looked so pretty on her nails.

I tried it and FELL IN LOVE! Its baby pink tone is so calming and pretty.
I love that it dried very quick but also,thanks to the help of Revlon Nail Care quick dry spray! After i painted my nails,i sprayed the 60 seconds Revlon Dry spray and it really does live up to its name! It dried in no time :)

                                           

I received so many compliments while wearing this color.i love the shine that the Essie polish gives my nails.

The color lasted me around 4 days.
I applied 2 coats to avoid that streaky effect.
It was a little streaky and patchy after the first coat but was fully opaque after the second.

I love the Revlon Dry Spray especially when you are in a rush and need your nails to dry really quick!

I used the Avon Glitter polish which is around R30.Its in a small bottle but is actually lasting me for a very long time! 
Totally worth the buy!

The texture is so deliciously creamy that it's simply irresistible.
My favorite thing about this lip gloss is that ,it does not leave that sticky feeling on your lips after you have applied it on.Its extremely moisturizing and i LOVE that!
I applied this gloss on at 11am and it is now 3pm!Guess what? This lip gloss is still on my lips ,shiny,moisturizing and with that subtle pop of color .im actually surprised it is lasting so long on my lip.I did not even need to apply a lip balm before i applied this gloss on,its actually a lip balm itself!Im so impressed and much more impressed because Essence products are so affordable and their quality is awesome!Even better than some of the high end products i have tried.INCREDIBLE!

I got the color "Cotton Candy",It is bright pink in the packaging but it is actually quite light on the lip.

I also must mention the scent of this lip gloss,it really does smell like cotton candy.It has a sweet,fruity tutty smell to it.Gorgeous!

There are so many colors to choose from!Trendy colors are waiting to make your lips pop!

I love this product and adore the brand!

Justine And Avon Nail Polish Review

What a stunning spring /summer colour.
You would think this would be more pinkish and the name does say wild strawberry but its actually a gorgeous, fun and summery coral pop of  colour.

There is no need for more than 1 coat but I always do 3 coats and a clear polish over which is the 3rd coat.


It Goes on smooth and very shiny... love it.

I painted my nails on Tuesday and its still looking decent on my nails and today is Friday.

And my nails grow really fast!

I wanted to do something more interesting so I painted a glitter pigmented Avon nail polish on every second nail (silver plated-R30).

I love sparkle but I definitely know my limit lol.When it comes to nails and when i am doing it myself, simple is better and I received so many compliments thus far..I actually felt so professional when its so simple and easy ! You just need a few minutes to yourself and its very therapeutic for me.

Pink happiness really does bring me happiness :) Its a sweet floral type of perfume that makes me feel feminine and romantic.

I would describe the scent as sweet floral,fruity and pink cotton candy:) The scent is sharp at first but as it develops and settles in,it has a very pleasant ,fresh and lovely smell.

The smell does not last that long on me,maybe for an hour? and the scent starts to fade...but i do get the whiff of it here and there.its a good everyday perfume to use or to keep in your bag at work.

I love the packaging,This is happiness in a pretty pink bottle...Just the way happiness should be :) Well done Revlon!

Beautiful Colour

This is a really beautiful lipstick color. I would mainly say that it is red, but not what you would consider a classic red lipstick....not like the reds in the Color sensational line,This is more of an office-appropriate, or even an every day kind of a red, that is more natural looking Hence the name,Deep Nude..
Deep Nude looked pure red at first! but if you look at it up close you can see a pink glint and a neutral undertone 

This is very warm, with hints of coral. It is a fresh shade that i can wear every day :)
No scent and great wearabilty without it drying your lips. Revlon Super Lustrous is winner lipstick in the Revlon line, and this is a great color
It does not last long on my lips though,i would say after 30 minutes i would have too reapply

Revlon Deep Nude

Creamy texture,just slides on your lips.Its best to put lip balm first before applying this lipstick.
